The oil has to be at the perfect temperature and the stick must cooked the right amount of time. If left in too long the batter will burn, or left too short the cheese will not melt (which is usually the case). I actually suggest looking for a stand which has one already out under the heating lamp believe it or not.
This is because...1.It will take 5 minutes too cooking another one (that’s a Mangum Ride right there!) 2. The cheese will melt more and continue cooking even why it’s sitting. 3. You would have to wait 5 more minutes for the thing to cool down just to eat if you are getting a fresh one.
