does anyone know where they are going to put the boneyard now that lighthouse point is being built?
It's already moved...it's behind "Seville". Late this season you could see it from the train as you passed under Snake River Falls; you can also see it from the air from Millennium Force...look down and to your left as you go over the first cross-over hill after the first tunnel (second hill); look down and to your right as you go over the second cross-over (third hill) just before the second tunnel...

I always thought that the area Dave is talking about would be a great spot for a themed dark ride.

Hmmm...Do they still have those Arrow 110v pirate-themed dark ride cars? There you go...a ride through the boneyard.........!
Actually, while the boneyard is located behind Seville, if you are riding the train it's actually located between two subdivisions of Boneville, which seems appropriate...

thanks dave...if im not mistaken a few years ago i thought i herd that the tubs for the pirat ride were unfortunatly sent to anether park.i still and always will belive that it was a big mistake taking out the pirat.it was the only dark ride at the point.i still love cedarpoint but its just not the same without this great ride.
Themed dark ride??? Cedar Point??? Theming??? get out...

The only thing I know for sure about the Pirate Ride cars is that for a time they were in the old boneyard, visible from Mean Streak...and that the park was offering them for sale. That's how I know they had 110vAC motors in them...the advertisement (in Amusement Business) said so.
