Both I guess.
I have a good pic of the plaza, the lockers are on right of it, the entrance is on the left. Exit is in the background.
The real question, does it matter ;) ;)?

I know the sign says no loose items past this point blah blah blah, but when I rode in the morning I noticed those shelves for stuff. Why would there be shelves if you can't take it even past the entrance??? So at the end of the night, when I had my backpack that I had gotten from the car earlier in the day, I tried to walk into the line with it. To my shock, the WT entrance op wouldn't let me take my back pack into the line with me. I asked him why not since they had the shelves and he told me that they were used for shoes and glasses and such. Also, he said because of the nature of the ride flying through the station at such high speeds, it could suck my bag into the path and stop the ride. Frankly I don't understand that logic. My bag didn't weigh that much, but I think shoes or sunglasses would be more prone to being sucked into the flight path...if that even happens. I think its just a way for CP to make more money by charging the $0.75 for the lockers. SFWoA doesn't have this policy for Superman and people can leave their stuff right by the automatic gates. Maybe I'm just not understanding the power of this ride.
