I was looking at the new aerials and they said it qppeared to be 70% finished. Do they have a projected finish date? What happens next, do they begin testing it and do you think they will have a Webcast like SFMM Goliath?
From what I've been told, the structure itself will probably be done in another three or four weeks, if that. My understanding of the process (which might be incorrect) is that they go over the entire ride again and make sure every bolt is torqued to spec. Then they test the control system, perform continuity checks for all electrical contacts, switches and photo-sensors. Loading a train on and running it comes after that, followed by more torqueing and testing of the other systems. Once that's good to go, they probably test and measure forces on a dummy followed by forces on the CP big-cheeses when they get that first ride.
There's probably more to it than that, but that's the part I've been told about.
