When will it be ready to run??

Does anyone know when they will have most of this done, and ready to test it? I was thinking probably around April right? But I'm not sure.

It's a legit. question, stop jumping all over people so quickly. At least wait till the 3rd or 4th post of the thread.

There is still quite an amount of work left to be done on the ride. Just because it looks completed since it's a full circuit, it isn't by far. There's electrical work, the hydraulic equipment needs to be installed, trains need to be put on the track, computer systems need to be installed and tested, even some plumbing needs to be run at the site. I wouldn't expect anything to happen before late Feb.

im trying to find some way to be there for media day and ride it before the GP do. the only way i can think of is if they would let a school media team come up and do a report on the new ride. thats what im workin on. now only if they would allow a schools media team to come in then. that would be cool

Jeff is right, however, my schools media team will most likely be allowed only because

A. We're a legit media team.
B. We've been recognized by Cedar Point as such.
C. We don't try to get into events that aren't for us.

I don't think it's out of the question that it might be tested well before opening day. I remember Jeff posted once he was at the point and saw Corkscrew running in December (I think). So it could be tested in the cold months.

Out of the question? Are you NUTS? The ride will definitely be tested months before anyone from the media or public gets near it. I'm thinking late feb early march.. but thats just a random guess.
