Is there going to be nothing in place of the bumper cars across from magnum? If you look at the map (on page 18 there is a map) There is nothing there. Maybe next season?

I thought it was labeled "Joe Cool's Corner Store" when I looked....unless I was wrong.

I'm still waiting for mine. I got one last year, and signed up again on their website in January or so. I live in Toledo, so hopefully it'll come in a day or two.

It will come as no surprise that the former Dodgem area across from Magnum is blank on the map. Joe Cool's Corner Store was there last year also.

Sorry For being 110% clueless, but what are getaway guides? I see the brochure request, but i'm guessing that's not it. Someone help me!

Getaway guides are guides to the park. They describe record holdings and other interesting things about the rides. This year, as well as last, it tells the ranking of their coasters if they are in the top ten. They also include info on rides, hotels, and include some big money saving coupons! They also have a park map with the new wicked twister on it. It is a way for CP to advertise their great rides and coasters. I did get mine about 1 week ago though.

Thank you Jeff for your work to make and run this site!

Is there any way to get one now, or ist it too late?

Some big differences from last year's GetAway Guide. First off, the size itself was decreased from 56 pages (last year) to only 36 pages this year. Only Ohio Edison, Pepsi and the Ohio Office of Travel and Tourism have advertisements within the Guide itself. No hotel/lodging ads other than C.P. Resorts. And speaking of C.P. Resorts, the actual rates are included this year in addition to the package deals that they offer every year. And finally, the coupons section was moved from the map page to the last two pages of the Guide. 33 total coupons this year compared to 47 last year.
In past years I have called and they told me that I couldn't get one because I lived too close. This was the first year that I have gotten one in the mail. Maybe they saw how much I spent at the resorts last year and they thought they would throw me a bone.
