What's your favorite classic (non coaster) ride?

My personal favorite classic ride is Cedar Downs. I remember riding it when I was little & went to Cedar Point. I always felt like it was a real horse race. Even now that I'm in my mid 30's, I still make sure to ride it. I know Cedar Downs may seem very corny to most people, but, to me it's a true classic.

Sky Ride...

Although it is favorite defacto because the Frontier Lift is gone..

My personal favorite is the train. But it keeps losing its appeal with every passing year due to more rides being built near or over it (Snake River, Mantis, MF).

Personally I like going by MF on the train. It gets that up close feeling to the lift and really makes you appreciate the size.
I agree with fat chris. If the timing is right, you can get some great pictures of MF and other coasters from the train, too.

For my favorite classic ride, I'd have to say Calypso. There is just something about that ride I love, especially when you ride alone so you don't have someone smashing into you every 5 seconds.

Aww.....Florida! But That's America's Wang

Riding the train and trying to see behind the scenes, especially the Boneyard stuff.
I love the train. Very, very relaxing.

I agree... Calypso is a fun ride. I also love the Scrambler. Any of the spinny stuff is good. The train is very nice when you just want to hang out and take a nice ride. The "hanging buckets of death" = not good.

... Ahhhh... Dangling feet, Sun in my face, and wind in my hair .... Bliss!

i like to ride that ride that spins around. sometimes the ride breaks down. it isn't built 300 ft. in the air. it isn't a roller coaster. can anyone guess what it is? i gave you enough hints, it should be obvious.
For a classic ride I would have to say Pirate Ride I just rememer that being one of the rides where my whole family would go on and my older sister would scream my name throughout the ride from the car behind me to scare me. But one of my favorite non coaster rides as of now would have to be the witches wheel. I remember freaking out once because there were no restraints.
Of the classics existing, Cedar Downs would be my fav.

Of those that are gone, the upside down Fun House.

My sister and I love Cedar Downs...we always have to ride it when we're spending an afternoon in the park. I'm always surprised at how fast it actually spins!

Red Garter Rob...While on the Sky Ride you are at least "riding" in the old FT Lift cars.

Favorite NON- Coaster is either CHAOS or The Super Himalayas with my Munchkins (it is great to ride with both of them and let them try to squish me!)

Snake River Falls. If SNF is classified as "classic". If not, Logger's Run.

I agree about the fun house. I loved that place. I also loved the rotor. Does anybody remember where in the park those 2 used to be located & what's there now? I can't remember, because, it's been so long & I was still young when they were removed.
I love Cedar Downs and both the carousels. I also love the Turtle at Kennywood.

There are 24 hours in a day, and 24 beers in a case. Coincidence?
My favorite classic is the Tilt-a-Whirl. I love to ride that with my sweetie and make it spin out of control the whole time.
