What's with DDR?

Hey ever since I started coming to this site I've noticed alot of people like/play DDR. That is one of my favorite games ever. Personally I like 2nd and 7th mix. But I was wondering if there is some wierd connection between roller coasters and Dance Dance Revolution.

Oh, and DDR is best played at 3 am with all your best friends. And use the DDR pads for other games! That is insane! Try Mortal Combat or Driver 2 like that.

I have been wondering the same thing now for a few months. I guess topics about DDR that has nothing to do with Cedar Point will always remain open and topics about a loved one (Steve) passing that does have to do with Cedar Point will always be closed. Funny isn't it?

The connection of DDR to coasters is because DDR is available at many amusement park arcades, including Cedar Point, and many of the enthusiasts here combine coasters & DDR when going to CP.

I've never played DDR. Is it fun? Is it as addictive as RCT?

Well, if DDR is an appropriate topic because there is a DDR game in the park, then I want to talk about funky high heel leopard print shoe chairs! They have one for sale in the Lots-a-palooza store. The one they sell is priced around $1000, but my mom just bought me the same one from Value City for $99. Anyone else have an opinion on these extremely cool chairs?

What--does Jeff have to name it "Guide to the Point, sometimes DDR and occasionally pancakes?" Yeesh.

See this is why we need a hero like Captain Obvious...

To say that CP has a DDR machine is rather misleading. I'm not really sure that you can call it a DDR machine. Obviously it is one, but I mean come on, I'm hoping they hook us up with a playable machine that has more than 5 songs. It's pathetic really. Oh well, enough of my b*tching.

Peace I'm Out

If you really need a fix, the Polaris location of Magic Mountain Fun Center (not affiliated with but run like Six Flags) here in Columbus has announced that they are getting the next version soon (Extreme 8th Mix). Here's a LINK to their website.

Provided by jimmybob as a public service - I'm not into DDR but I'll be happy to give directions to Magic Mountain if you need them! :)
