What's up with Wildcat?

The track used to be a green color until last week or so, but now is a strange shade of purple. What is going on with that? Is CP trying to use up paint from other jobs? I am not saying Wildcat now looks bad, but it looks different because of what I'm used to.

From what I understood, it was getting painted purple track and green supports, but who knows. As long as it gets painted at all I'll be happy.

Yeah I noticed that on wildcat...and it got me thinking.

Wouldn't it be smart to paint Iron Dragon Green? I mean dragon you think of green, and think-The new coaster is red, and inbetween 2 red coasters, Maggie and ID. And then Mantis is partially red. Wouldn't it make sense to Pain't that green to add some diff colors to the area?

Coming from the crew themselves, it will have purple track and fluorescent yellow supports. You can see that they started the support painting on one part near the transfer track in the station.

Iron Dragon's cars already have some green in them, they are actually teal in color but still some what green.

I agree that green track would be cool, but then new train colors would be needed. How bout' dark green track, black supports, and black trains with lime green and yellow flame details on all of the cars.

Is it just me or does CP get happy with their purple and yellows?...troika just got painted purple and yellow...not wildcat. Chaos is Purple and yellow with some pink..ETC

I think CP should try out new colors....like the colors on the Goliath in SF holland.

Wildcats track is purple. Maybe they save money by using the same colors! I know Wildcat is by seeing it this past Sat. It was pretty cool, except there was green track still on one of the turns. I don't know about the yellow!

The fluorescent yellow is a mix between green and yellow. If you were to look near the transfer track over the weekend you could see it was started. To say the least WildCat will look very interesting.

Greg,

Are the cars going to be painted differently, or will they get new fiberglass? If not, that is cool. I would really love to see the headlights on the cars work, if the already don't.

It's really nice to see Cedar Point taking care of the little things that make the park so great.

If I win the lottery I'm going to buy a wildcat and put it my big back yard and ride ride ride

I've heard that the cars are going to be different colors but I don't know for sure. When I was in the park earlier today to process out, much of the supports were already there new color. It seemed very strange to see it like that after being so used to the old colors!
