What's up with Mean Streak's RED train?

My brother-in-law just called from the park. He just told me that Mean Streaks red train is sitting on pallets off the ride!

Anyone hear what's up?

They are moving it to GL to run on the big dipper....... Are you sure it is a Meanstreak train or is it indeed a Gemini train?

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

Are you sure you would want to ruin the Big Dipper by putting a MS train on it? ..........It is most definately a Mean Streak train.

Maybe they finaly figured out that there is no need for 3 trains to be on meanstreak.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'm pretty sure it was running yesterday (July 9th). I guess it was taken off during the night. Is the ride running or not, it was down yesterday morning but was up in the afternoon?

What time was this. When I am there, they usualy take off a train after 7pm or so. Mean Streak doesn't really need 3 trains but the crews over 2007-2009 have been really good about not having all three trains on the brake run. There is really never any stacking anymore. Retrackable seatbelts help out alot.

Thanks..... I have just been told that a forklift is moving the cars around near the transfer track.

Maybe they'll decide to put it on a flatbed and send to KI to test on SOB :-)

...or since it reportedly valleyed a few days ago, they took the train that valleyed off the track and put it on pallets. What else do you think they would do with it?

Sounds like there have been some operational issues with MS lately.

Just got back from the park. It is indeed sitting on pallets (with one car on the ground) right next to the lift hill. I thought it was odd as well, but now it makes sense.
