What's the name of this...

You all would not believe, how many people could not get the name of this roller coaster right! I worked in the Police Station, and at least once a day, someone would come in and say "I lost my hat on the TWISTED SISTER", so I was like..."What do you mean"?, then there like...that teal and yellow coaster by the Ocean Motion..., then I was like..."You mean the Wicked Twister", now saying the correct name of the coaster for the guest, thinking that they would refer to it correctly now...nope, they still called it the TWISTED SISTER. Now what im getting at is...Did any of you have guest refer to coasters by different names?? If so what??? :)

They'll either call us Twisted Sister, or get all retarded and think they're original and call it Twisted Wicker... har har har, cuz we don't hear that 50 times a day...

2003 - Wicked Twister Crew

I had someone ask me if the Twicked Wicker would be running any time today. I paused, smiled, and said although I can not give a time frame or promise that it will be back up, usually there is a very good chance that any one given coaster will not be down an entire day. (You know... then hope to god they don't say something smart-allecky about Dragster). Believe it or not that was like closer to the end, and *then* I heard it about 10 times after that.

I've heard Twisted Sister many of times, and I've had to repeatedly tell my mom that it's def. not Twisted Sister, but WICKED TWISTER. She was actually really proud of herself cause she thought she had it right (since she could never remember it) but I had to tell her she's sooo wrong.

In other, totally unrealted news...a lot of people have trouble with the name of sister park VF's Impulse too. And the words of the name don't sound the least bit similar!

I don't know how many people call it "Venom Steel" who have season passes and climb aboard every other week, nor do I have any clue why they do. Maybe it's that 'Venom' is written so much larger than 'steel.' Maybe 'Venom' is the only cool word in the name anyway, so who cares about the rest. I have no clue why, just that it happens.

Well, I like The Millennium XL 200, or the Magnum Force (asked at CP before) If you are asked where the Magnum Force is, say Flamingoland... They have a ride there (if you didn't know that already)

Top Fuel Dragster is the one I see and hear all the time.

When walking down the midway, I've always been tempted to point with BOTH hands in two different directions to guide a guest to the "Magnum Force."

Yup, it's right over *there.* Heh heh heh...

The .........'s are the pause after the realization that the person has no idea what they said and should most likely have thought of what they wanted to say before they said it. Gotta hate those moments. :-p

When I rode Shivering Timbers, the ride op said that about 50 times.

When I come near the ride, I usually get the song "We're Not Gonna Take It" stuck in my head. Yes, I get Twisted Sister in my head on my way to Wicked Twister.

Luckily, that is cleared out by the Crystal Method that plays in the station. Good choice for station music, but I say they should play Twisted Sister in the queue (just for fun).

Yeah but unfortunately the in line queue music is actually the park's midway music b/c they needed to control it better for the dive show (which from what they tell me is partially the reason for not having a DJ, although a DJ in the Twistie line would be rockin'!). The music actually messes w/ the divers heads b/c they need to hear the dive show music when they're waaaaaaay up at the top to know when they need to jump, and if the midway music is running at just the right song it can interfere with the dive show music and nobody likes an off beat dive, now do they? Nope! :P

Ahh the fun of watching the dive show between loading trains! ;)

Yeah, and if we spiel to the queues during the dive show.. all hell breaks loose.
