I'll be going to CP on the 13th and 14th of June and was wondering what the line is like on the MF? Is there plenty to see around you? My least favorite line is the Magnum line, because you're surrounded by trees and the coaster you want to ride is so far away, but at least they have a DJ sometimes. On that note, is there a DJ set up at the MF line, or one of those huge TV's you can't see in the daylight like at the Mantis? I know at least one of you knows the answers, you lucky sons of....why can't I live near CP??? *sniffle* Anyway, let me know what's up, please...

Question: How do you explain the actions of millions of people who wait hours upon hours to be dropped down a hill?
Answer: You don't...
ha ha ha you are hit. Millennium Force has set an 11th world recored. Longest Queue. The queue is not surrounded by trees so you will have fun looking at Mantis, and things like that, but you have a long wait

The queue goes right under the final banked turn, so there's those trains going through there every couple of minutes to look at. Also, the queues are very big and give you a lot of time to get to know people around you lol.
There's a DJ booth there, and I heard that they actually had a DJ there one day but I wasn't there that day. The DJ booth is right by the Pepsi machines, set about in the center of the queues.
Overall it builds anticipation rather well and waiting in it did not seem as long as it actually was.
Hope I've helped. Hey, I'll see ya there 13th and 14th, my first day of work there is the 11th. :o)

Do you think the people that vist this web site have crystal balls. The length of the line on a ride this new is going to to be anywhere from long to really really long. Just come to the point with that in mind. You should also be ready to possibly face a dissapointing ride closure. Yes it would suck but it COULD and has happened already as whined about in various post this past week. I two live further away then you do based on your info. I am looking forward to riding this thing as much as the next guy. When I visit Ohio in June. But if fate has it that there are long lines or a closed ride well then then it wasn't ment to be. I am sure I am not the only person that gets board with all the ? about what will the line be like on a certain day of the week or a said day that is in the future.

I was in line for Millennium Force the day they had a DJ there. They have two rather large speakers and two smaller ones. If you ask me, when you are in the start of the queues and the end you can't hear the music as well. I think they need to hook up more speakers around the queues then just on the DJ booth.
I am a lucky one. I live in Sandusky. So, I get to go to CP during the week when they have the shortest lines ever. If I were you Gemini Hand Smacker and a genie gave me 3 wishes, I would wish that I would live right "on" CP. I feel sorry for you.

can't believe they cancelled the Simpsons after all these years...now look sad and say D'OH!!
There really isn't much of an advantage...Take it from someone who knows, maybe I take it for granted :)
YZ10 Why don't you read the entire post and not just the title? The person making the original post was not asking about the LENGTH of the line, just the surroundings of it. Therefore, your post makes absolutely no sense.

Yes, I was there the day of the DJ (sat. may 20th) They played NEW MUSIC!!!! AHH!! They played vertical horizon, filter, fatboy slim, daft punk, satana, creed, chemical brothers. I agree with CPmaster, while in line, we were talking about how they need to surround the queue with speakers (ala mantis), because you can only hear the music well when you're right by the DJ booth. Other than that, I'm really pleased with the DJ this year. Not the same 8 songs being repeated!

One thing about the line that I thought was cool was how you are so close to the trains coming by just before the final turn when you are on the straightaway towards the station. The wind is incredible!

Chemical Brothers and Fatboy? Are you serious?

I think that the ? about what there was do do in line has because of he thought the line would be long. Well at least that is how I read it
My thoughts about the MF line...Smo***g, Sm*k*ng,
S*oking......Well at least I didn't say the dreaded word. And a big THANK YOU to all of you who refrained in line from doing so, especially the GTTP people. By far the best mannered group at CP IMO. My lungs just can't take the sm*ke.
Forgot about....sore feet, sore feet, sore feet:)
And the lights on the lift hill structure are incredable. You HAVE to ride at night. And when you finally get up to the unloading platform and the trains go ROARING by, you can hardly wait to get buckled in:)
We are smoke free.

Dispatch Master, This is Transport one! I'm losing control, I'm losing control!
Back on topic somewhat, lines were 2-3 hours for the majority of the 26th. Mantis was running 1-2 hours as well -- seemingly eating the MF rejects.
Snagged a 15min line at 11am just as the ride opened, though. =)
I agree with Scooter...The line for Millennium force is extremely smoky! At least it is at night. There are no smoking signs every 10 feet yet everyone still lights up.
Last time I was in that line the people in front of me were smoking, and because I am allergic to it, I let the ladies behind me go ahead. I said "you can go ahead of me because they are smoking and I am allergic to it." Not long later they lit up too knowing that I am allergic to it, and knowing they weren't suppose to in the first place. To me, that was extremely inconsiderate.

Look Emma, we know you are very passionate about this whole smoking issue. I hate the smoke in the lines too, but the one topic you posted in the general section was enough. You are really starting to annoy people by bringing up topics that have been dead for 2 years just because something was mentioned about smoking in them! I'm sorry about your allergy, but you need to knock this off! If anyone wanted to know your opinion about smoking, they would have read it in the first post you made, and if they have an opinion, they will put it there. So stop annoying us!
