^hold it.. :)
4.5 hours for TTD back in 2003. Mid July + 95 degrees + no clouds = hell. Worth it of course.. because we ended up being the ONLY people on the whole tour bus (around 55 people) who got on TTD that day. The bragging did commence.. lol

My mom & I waited in line before the CP&LE RR tracks in Frontier Town for Mean Streak its opening weekend for 6+ hours due to rain. Seriously, the whole day while my father & brother ran around the park riding other things.
12 hours ... well, actually, 4+ hours for my first ride on Top Thrill Dragster ...
We were staying at The Breakers for a couple days during TTD's opening season. We got in line for TTD just before they closed the line at 10pm that night. Well, the ride broke down (of course) and at about midnight they announced they were closing it and they gave everyone in line a coupon to "skip" to the front of the line the next time.
So, the next day, we got back in line and got to cut in line up at the station. Since we saved time doing that, we got in line for the front seat. Needless to say, TTD broke down again and we waited 2 more hours in the station before it opened and we got to ride front seat.
So, I like to tell people that I waited over 12 hours to ride TTD ... but in fact, 8 hours were spent asleep in the hotel!
MAVERICK TRAIN RIDES:
Bart 1, Beau 2, Ben 2, Brent 1, Bret 0, Sam 0
PB-Reader, I was there for joe cool TTD ERT with 0g in the station on opening day this year. Me and my friend kept saying "it went over easy" when the train made it over the top. We watched with jealousy as 0g got his rollback and they only filled the first few rows on the trains with people.
I think the most painful wait for me was a full queue on Blue Streak (about an hour), the group I was with sure thought it was worth the wait. I generally won't wait too long for any ride (MF, Maverick and Raptor for me are worth the wait if it is about an hour).
But I generally won't go longer than an hour (I avoid the park on Saturdays). I just try to go on a slower day. I guess ERT's, Media days and employee ride nights have me spoiled. ;)
Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast
412 days, 9 hours to ride Top Thrill Dragster.
Its opening season we waited in line for 7 hours due to numerous breakdowns and, being our last trip that year, we waited them all out up till closing, only to be told around midnight to go home.
We never got on.
The next year we waited 2 more hours and finally got on.
That was a long wait!

Promoter of fog.
Well since the Dragster was made in 2003 till this year 2007; I have rode it 130 times in 38.5 hrs. In 2003 I've Rolled back 1 time and in 2005 I Rolled back 1 time too. All the time I've been waiting it Broke Down only 8 times. I was only at CP 2003 - 2007 158 times.
^^Well you can't construct a sentence, but you sure as hell can keep track of your number of visits! How the h-e-double hockey stick do you get 158 visits in 5 years and not get sick of it?
3.5 hours due to thunderstorms on Top Thrill back in 2005. It was my first ride on it.
Just another coaster junkie at Point Buzz
Well with me I go many times with family members and friends. Sometimes I will go 1 or 2 times a week during the Season. I have Epilepsy; and I can't work or drive so that gives me time to go more to the Point.
I have made a Journal from 2001 - 2007 with all the Rides and Attractions at Cedar Point. This will just be from 2001 till this year on the Coasters.
MF #328 TTD #130 MAV #13 RAPTOR #392 WT #178 MAGNUM #231 MANTIS #131 BLUE STREAK #141
MEAN STREAK #150 IRON DRAGON #124 WILDCAT #51 GEMINI #60 CORKSCREW #91 MINE RIDE #42
DISASTER TRANSPORT #29
There are so many other Thrill & Water Ride Journal Stats, but the times & hours would be to long.
I had to wait 3 1/2 hours for Millennium Force back in 2000 when it opened. We started in the back of the line when he park opened (which was halfway between MF and "Maverick" now.) We got up to the actual line where the lockers are and they said I wasn't tall enough to ride. (This was when I was 10 years old). The golf-flag measuring thing they used hit my head every other turn so it was too close to call. So me and my parents had to walk all the way to the front of the park, while my 2 older sisters stayed in line, and I was clearly 54" or whatever it was back then. I got a wrist band saying I was tall enough and we got to enter at the locker part again. Then waited and rode it. It was well worth the 3 and 1/2 hour wait. :)

Miss_Maverick07, ah yes,"over-easy", The way we like our eggs, - I do remember you. Made for a more entertaining wait. Remembering that gave me a smile :) Thanks.

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
CPboy77 - Thanks for posting intial question - what an awesome topic! I think, out of all the posts I've seen from everyone during the past several months, this one really captured the essence of a fun post - just good responses and no one cranking and arguing about something that is supposed to be fun...
I avoid long queues like the plague, so I can't add to the awesome responses... However, I've always wondered how long some people wait and now I know!
