Whats the deal with those little houses?

I know we have ALL seen those adorable little A framed brown houses on the causeway. I think they are so cute-does anyone know who lives there and has anyone seen the inside of them? I would love to know what they look like on the inside cause they are so cute from the outside!!

At one time guests could rent those by the night. I have a brochure at home. I think they are now used for VIP guests.

At this point in time I believe those A-Frames are used by the hotel.
Yes, I have seen the inside...when I worked "full time" I had the opportunity to stay in the last A-Frame in the row when I was at the park. WOW...what a view...It was fun to sit on the back deck and enjoy a cold one looking across the water at the park. Also, it was a great spot to watch the thunderstorms roll in.
The inside is plain..nothing special. As I remember there is a living room area with a sofa bed. There is a small kitchen with a bar type counter. There is a double bed up a spiral staircase in the top of the A-frame. And a double bed in the back bedroom.
The rooms are pretty nice but if I was given a choice I would stay right on the Point instead of even driving down the causeway.
The condos next to the A-Frames ARE nice. (They have the covered drives.) They have a kitchen, living room and three bedrooms upstairs. I am sure they would sleep 8-10 comfortably.

They, too, were rented out at one time but I do not know if they still are. It wasn't unusual for a new full-time executive to live in one of the condos until they found a permanent home in the Sandusky, Perkins area.

Only real bad thing about those condos is the sewer treatment plant across the way (when the wind is blowing that way) and the occasional high tides when the wind pushes Lake Erie into the living rooms. Not too good for the carpeting.
