Whats goin on at millie isle?

I have heard that cp's new coaster will extend onto Millennium island. Any news on whats going on over there?

I thaught we've been through this...it's not going on millie island(i dont think, anyway)!!!!

Absolutely nothing is going on on MF island. I was just there and saw nothing except the destruction of the Magnum midway.

O well im new here so i guess that is an excuse.

I'll take the responsibility that someone else usually assumes here....

Before posting a topic, try to see if there has been a discussion about it in the past. Welcome to coasterbuzz though.

No,I wasn't cracking on you,sorry if I made you think that. I just said "Absolutely Nothing" because others were so darn positive there were footers,etc there.

If you look at that picture, you'll notice the launch goes up to the tower, as well as the brake run. The coaster cannot do anything else due to the fact of the supports and footers are lined up to the tower. L TH B is what the coaster is going to do, as the layout is clear now.

yup, i'm with you gemini, We cant Rule anything out yet...most of us dont know what the layout of the ride is going to be...sure signs point to an L-TH-B. But, you dont know what CP has up their sleeves...they just might pull a Hat trick on us.

Hold on - don't start reading into my comments, too. I'm not saying anything about ride layout, but rather there is a big pile of dirt over there that wasn't there before. I'm not saying it is or isn't for the new ride. But saying that absolutely nothing is happening on the island wouldn't be correct.

You guys give too much credit to the "insiders." Never before has the details for a new Cedar Point project been so closely guarded. There are people working on the construction site who don't know all the details. However, you can figure out an awful lot by just observing and thinking, which is exactly what the smart people are doing.

what is the deal with the different support heights after the drop?

right after the pull out the height of the supports goes up.

i'm assuming after the pull out it will bank over to millie island and possibly go other places until returning to the higher supports after the pullout.

if you can back this up, try to. if you can state otherwise feel free.

For the last time, does it look like there are pieces to make an overbank? No.

there ya go. what about those new pieces that were recieved a little while ago like the big odd support and the metal box like things. so basically i could be right or you could be right. for now it's all theory and guessing.

Jdoty, judging by the look and setup of the current supports, unfortunately, L-TH-B is, most likely, the disappointment we're all not looking forward to.

I'm just as upset about CP's choice to build what is, yes in my opinion, a closed-circuit wicked twister, as everyone else out there. (It should be just a little taller, a bit faster.)

Before everyone starts bawling about the coaster, and saying how disappointed they are, I would recommend not jumping to conclusions. For crying out loud, no one knows!!!!!!! Either wait until an announcement, or until ALL of the track is put TOGETHER! Geez, all this speculation is too much speculation. Yes, there is a such thing.
