What would YOU pass up to go to Cedar Point?

I ask this because I was reflecting on what early May could have been for me, but wasn't able to because of starting work there.

I'm part of a male chorus: Michigan Men's Glee Club, and every year we go on a big tour, and an international one every 4 years. This year, club will be making a sweet trip to perform at Carnegie Hall, which I of course had the opportunity to go with. However, because starting after I come back from tour would have cost me the ride host job that I wanted, I decided I'll wait (next year we'll be in California, and in 3 years in an international competition I believe in the British Isles).

What would you pass up to go to the Point?

Haha, I got one of those too. Thankfully it's in April so I dont miss opening day.

Prom maybe...I'm only a freshmen so it's not a problem but opening day at CP is also the same day as our Junior/Senior Prom.

Oh, come on. Cedar Point is open a lot of days during the summer. I can't believe someone would miss prom to go to CP's opening day. There is a line I draw and that's crossing it.

It's all about priorities. I went fishing instead of my prom. :) Fishing was, of course, much more important. I would have most definitely gone to Cedar Point as well instead.

But then again, prom was a very low-priority to me. ;)
