No cedar point? well, it would be:
a) People would be running to Geauga lake for thrills or driving 5 hours to kings island
b) I would be up in marblehead sitting at my trailer balling my eyes out
c) or... think about history for a minute when the park DID almost close down cuz some company wanted to turn it into a housing development on the peninsula.
Concerning option "c": Really? I had never heard that. Are we talking the 1950's? 60's?
Promoter of fog.
Read Cedar Point: Queen of American Watering Places, it talks all about that and much much more.
And to answer the original question, if there was no Cedar Point, I would probably have a lot more money and my car would have a lot less kilometres. I would also have some extra time on my hands since I wouldn't waste an hour a day on this site.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
As strange as this may sound...we wouldn't miss it, because we wouldn't know what to miss. As coaster enthusiasts we might think six flags was the greatest thing out there because we wouldn't know better!

^ I don't know about that. I'm not saying this for everyone, But alot of us on this site wouldn't even be coaster enthusiasts if it wasn't for Cedar Point. We also might not have the same selection of coasters. Cedar Point was the start for alot of great coaster ideas and ride types.
