What will go wrong?

As we all know, rides and coasters at CP have a history of having issues or problems that result in alterations of some aspects of the ride. Maverick's hearline role was removed and opened late, Dragster's racing wheels at the end of the trains were removed, WindSeeker opened late in the season and continues to have issues, Shoot the Rapids had to have its boats replaces, and Mantis even had a name change. Also, Maverick ended up with less theming than originally planned. I know not to put much faith into renderings, but still. Do you think GateKeeper will be the first ride to open at the park and not have any major things be changed to it within its first year or two of operation?

I'm guessing that we might actually be lucky with this ride. If anything, I can see the lighting being the first thing to go, especially on the trains and the lights under every support. Also, hopefully no trims will be added to it. I hope GK will be the first ride to not have things altered or changed, but I know things could occur.

I don't expect anything to go wrong. It's not an Intamin and it's not a prototype ride by mondial. It's a B&M.

Why would you want to guess what bad things will happen? The less you talk of them, the less chance there will be that they happen. And like everyone has said, this is a B&M, practically nothing can go wrong with a B&M except trims, which this ride has no preset places where they could be installed.

^I agree. The fact it is a B&M coaster I dont think anything will go wrong.

In B&M we trust. Yeah I don't expect anything major to go wrong with Gatekeeper. I doubt it will have all that much downtime either.

Ride hasn't even opened to the public yet and people want to start talking about what will go wrong? Looking for the negative never seems to me to be a road to being happy (and that is what places like Cedar Point are about).

Haha I didn't try to come across as being negative, so sorry about that. I just thought it would be interesting to talk about if people thought there could be issues with the ride.

The only issue that I will have with the ride is that I won't get to ride it nearly as much as I'd want to haha
