What it will look like if it is l-th-b

As stated on my other topic, I think there will be something more to this ride, but I did come across a video of what someone thinks the ride will be like (if a l-th-b).

Either my WMP is messed, the video is messed, or this is a real bad joke.

Nope - it isnt a joke and IMO a pretty good video. I had similar problems at first - I had to hit the right mouse and safe to file, then update my windows media for some new codex - once everything was downloaded and updated - it works like a charm. It shows all 24 seconds of what the ride will most likely be like. Great video and graphics (IMO).

Tom, could you point me to the Codec update? I tried updating through Windows Media's built-in update check, and manually through Microsoft, but still can't play the file.

And please, please don't tell me I need to install WinXP SP1... too many horror stories from people I know.

[Edit] For those that are having no problems with this... are you using Windows Media Player 9? [Still on 8 due to 'issues' with 9's EULA, and the fact it's still Beta.]

[Edit again] Downloaded and installed Windows Media 9 Beta, which I would have never done if it weren't for the positive posts about this video... I generally won't put anything beta on my main PC, but this video sounded worth it.

WMP9 played it just fine, and wow, that really is a good vision of it!

Mine worked just fine the first time. One thing to notice is that the 24 second movie contains 6 seconds of a disclaimer!

I was impressed with it...if it twists that much i think you will need otsr's...i hope some way some how its longer though

Very impressive video and somewhat as I picture the ride. 200 feet angled then 225 toward the sky.

WOW is right. That's exactly how I see the ride turning out. The track was perfect, the supports were perfect, everything was awesome.

If you have trouble playing it just get the new winamp... it will play it.

I think this is what it will be also. That looks like a rush to me. I think you will be going slower through the second twist though.
