What is it with red trains at CP?

As I type the red train is stuck atop the MF lift hill.

The red train on Magnum has such a bad reputation for having problems that they call it the devil train.

The red train on Mean Streak rolled backed loaded two years ago. 

I could post other problems with other red trains, but the list could go on forever.

Note to CP:  when building a new coaster forget red as a color for a train.

I just heard about the incident on MF.  It was featured on my local news station.  They referred to it as an "accident" and stated that the train contained CP employees who were taking it for a test run.  They also stated something about a cable snapping, and said that CP is investigating the accident. 

Does anyone know if this is what actually happened?  Is the ride going to be shut down while they "investigate"?

Red train also rolled back on MF. If they ever get it over, It's been sitting cold for so long I bet it will rollback again.

Dan, Red train on Magnum broke axle Sunday at end of night. Didn't find out til Monday morning.

Dave & Scott had a nice ride torward end of night! LOL :)

Both times MF broke down when i was there, it was the red train, or it seemed like it to me.....

But on Gemini, it is a BLUE train that has been out of service for the past month, and it seems it is usually the BLUE trains that roll back and have other problems. Sunday, it was the BLUE train that was making a deathly noise 3/4 of the way up the lift hill.

So apparently Gemini is an exception to the red train rule?

Easy explanation. The colors are not what we perceive them to be. It's an optical illusion. The red is actually blue, and the blue is actually red.

Raptors red train has NEVER given us any problems :)
Maybe MF and Maggie should paint their trains pink, green and black!!

The blue train that is in the infield of MS is not a problem train. The lift hill can only handle 2 trains right now (and has been having problems if running 3 for most of the season). So they took one off...

P.S. the red train on Gemini was the one involved in a rollback a week or so ago at the helix.. but.. well.. that was because the trims were left on and the car wasn't sandbaged too much.

Also.. am I the only one who finds it funny that the animated banner at cedarpoint.com shows the red train going over the hill during the daytime??? :)
