What is going to go in place of Dogems?

As far as the reasturant goes.. there never was an "official" announcement about it. Although... it wouldn't be the first time something was built without an official press release..

VertiGo Rides - 82 Farewell my good friend..

There was an official press release for VertiGo...the ride was announced on July 20, 2001 to open "later this summer." Another release was issued on August 14 to announce the ride opening.

I never really thought of Mill Race as being a "Kiddy" Log flume. Granted it wasn't really a kiddy ride. It was just small log flume. I was thinking a kiddy flume would be maybe 10 or so feet shorter that Mill Race.

Some people just don't get it. They say things like,"Cedar Point already has a log flume so why get another one?" Well it is obvious, kids like having choices and variety just as much as adults do. Would you say, "Cedar Point already has a roller coaster that hangs below the track so why get another one?"
DB..do you REALLY think they'd be silly enough to put in a blue food restaurant sit down restaurant? Restaurant, fine, but I can't see them doing blue food. It will fail miserably with adults, and it's the adults who would frequent a sit down place.

Apparently, you're behind the times, see his topic on Blue Food and Fun, the new restaurant coming to Cedar Point.

What's all this about a kiddie water ride?

Height restrictions are looser on the water rides than just about anything else....they don't need a 'kiddie' one. How much shorter than 36" do they need to be? If you can take your two to three year-old kid on just about any CF flume or boat ride (and I have), who are we leaving out? Kids in diapers?

As much as I like the idea of a Vekoma suspended at the Point, rest assured it won't happen. Runaway Reptar has a 44" height requirement and Draggin' Iron welcomes 46" kiddies already. It's just not a good fit.

If you have the funny feeling this is another tantrum for a decent wooden family coaster (a la Beastie/Zach's Zoomer).....you're right. It remains a glaring, almost embarrasing hole in the coaster lineup. Just because CoastaMidget is 45" and growing doesn't mean other families aren't facing the same problem I have for years. Of course, the smart ones are visitng PKI instead.

-'Playa

Is this worth discussing? It's been discussed to death that a restaurant is going there.
It is going to be grass......Restaurants take a long time to construct (they started Johnny Rockets in early Feb., and see when that opened ?? And that even had a building around it.) So for now, it will be a nice grassy area.

MEAN STREAK JR! in the space inside the MS structure where the que is that they don't use anymore!

NO! An article in the Sandusky Register about a Blue Food restaurant? Until I get some GOOD reviews, I'm stayin' away from the place.

I do believe that blue restaurant was a joke. There was no Blue restaurant article in the Sandusky Register. I think if something was going in place of Dodgems, we would have heard about it now....

Jeese, sorry for trying to make a topic.

I kinda like the suspended coaster over kiddy kingdom. It might spruce up kiddy kingdom. Sir Rub A Dub Tubs could be replaced with a canoe just like the water fountain with snoopy! Only problem is that they might not make the turns!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~JESUS-FREAK~~~~~~~
I would like to see a b&m flyer in place of dodgems. I think it would be good for the point
