Hey, Paisley, about your point...Why can't they terrain form a little bit to make the terrain work a little? Probably the space thing, and I imagine it would be expensive as all hell.
About the motor pit...I wonder if they're going to fill it in. How deep would you have to go to reach lake water level at Cedar Point?

Work harder, seagulls! You need to push Cedar Point into the sun!

I think can give you that answer tomorrow. I glanced at some numbers the other day, but can't remember them off the top of my head.

Also when I saw that pit from Magnum, it looked maybe 6 or so feet deep. Right now I'm on the site, and maybe they'd put in a 2nd generation enterprise as It can be raised and operated horizontally and could be used for observation, but I doubt it.

It would be a lot of money thrown at trying to make the park something it's not instead of taking advantage of the current topography and setting. Sure, they can move a bunch of dirt, adjust some structure, and plop Adventure Express down at CP but would it be the same ride if it was sitting over sand with a lovely view of the marina instead of in its "jungle"? And the Beast just needs to be in the woods. If it was nestled between other coasters in plain view it just wouldn't be the same. For completely new builds at CP major terrain forms probably wouldn't be worth the space but some aggressive landscaping like Thunder Canyon has around new rides with no view of the beach anyway would be a nice touch. I would love something done on the stretch of the train tracks where the spaghetti bowl of Rougarou is juts way too visible from the train and not an attractive view from that angle.

Thanks, Michael.
As for Augustmuller's idea, while that does sound nice(albeit not as nice as sailing charters), where would you put the thing? There's definitely not enough space in witch's wheel's former spot to accomodate a 300' wheel. Hmm, the only vital solutions I can see are on the former STR site, or you can rip down the giant wheel and put in your 300' wheel.
