That section was fairly non-productive, so I didn't include it in the new site.
However, I do plan at some point to build a "talkback" system in the news section, where you can respond to a thread specific to individual news items.

Yea I think that would be a great idea. The only complaint I would have about this would be if the news section got flooded with messages, because that would make the news a hassle to read. Im sure you could limit it somehow though. It sounds like a cool idea.
Sorry, should have clarified... the talkback would be in the form of a link that said something like "5 responses to this news." It wouldn't be in-line with the rest of the news.
I agree with getting rid of the rumors section. It was always the same people starting the rumors. That tells you something doesn't it?
I know it has been a few years, but a talkback system for the news still seems like a good idea. Maybe just posting a link to a related thread in this forum.
Why are you bringing back a topic from '99?
It isn't going to happen. There's maybe one news item a month. The forums will work just fine for that.
