What happened to CCI?

What ever happened to Custom Coasters International? I know they closed last year but what happened? I think it would be cool for Cedar Point would get one.

No, CCI went bankrupt. They sent everybody home and filed. How do I know? I'm one of the people they owed money to.

Denise Dinn, the founder/owner, was hired by S&S. I have no idea why exactly, because, as best I can tell she didn't do any of the engineering or layout work.

Four of the primary engineers laid-off from CCI started their own company, The Gravity Group. They have been retained by Holiday World to do some work there on the existing coasters, and by now may very well have a deal with someone to build a new ride. There's really no way of knowing, since obviously that kind of thing is kept under wraps.

Just an update, an auction house is liquidating what little assets the company had. Sounds like you might be able to score lots of wood, steel and tools.
