What happened? 6-17

Does anybody know how serious or not serious the breakdown of Millennium Force was around 6:00 on Monday? I was just curious to know why I didn't get to ride.

I was there. I don't know what kind of problem it had but it did reopen all three train operation after 9. But by then EVERYONE was making a mad dash for the ride. It was almost a stampede. So no MF for me on that trip. :(

Around 6 you say? I do believe that they shut down cause of the rain. It was light for a while but it picked up in intensity for about a minute and a half. They were being proactive and shut everything down very quickly. That's just my guess, cause we got the last Raptor train out of the station before they closed it. Then, as soon as they had parked everything, the rain let up. It's worth mentioning that, just as we crested the lift, a rainbow appeared over the lake. One end on CP, one end near Sandusky.....If you ask me, CP is one heck of a pot of gold! Best ride I've ever had on Raptor... ANYWAY! Rain would be my guess!

No the force was closed long before the rain... The rain was nice though. It cleared out just the right amount of people. :)

Most likely there was lightning on the radar in the area, usually if there is lightning within 10 miles then all coasters shut down until it clears. That is if this had anything to do with the weather that is what it would be. But it could have been mechanical.

It was not rain. That is what they told evrybody in the line. Then, the rain cleared and they told us it was mechanical. I assume the problem could not have been that serious if the ride opened back up around 9.
