When do you all think the new projects will be confirmed by CP? Wasnt Millenium Force already confirmed this time last year?

CP has known since this time last year. They won't announce it until next month. They plan at least 2 years in advance.

But since it isn't probably as big of news as Millennium Force, we might not hear about it for a while longer.
Really folks, lets enjoy this year as it is. I haven't gotten to ride MF very much and it would please me if we could enjoy MF while it's still the worlds tallest!!!!
Nuff said.

Don't they usually announce there new improvements around labor day?

Well, with MF, they announced it in late July, because it takes longer than the average time for a coaster to be built, I'm assuming. Breaker's Express was announced around July 1st. BTW: There is going to be nonrides development in the Bone Yard. That is all I'm saying. Look for it in the next 1-3 years.

I honestly think that some year there will be a coaster or an attraction back there behind MS. Two reasons; 1. There is plenty of room back there. 2. All of the crap back there can easily be stored on the mainland some where.

But if CP were to ever build a coaster in the boneyard, how would they configure the walkways to get back there? You already have to cross the tracks to get to Mean Streak. Would they re-route the road? I just don't know how a coaster would look back there with MS blocking it.

The supports could be on either side of the tracks, and you could board the coaster over by Mean Streak's entrance.

Most of the Magnum is outside of the park and across the road. The solution is the put the station inside the park. Anyone notice how much room there is between the Gemini and Mean Streak?

Don't forget they moved the CP Railroad and Giant Wheel for Millennium Force. Also, remember how much they took out for Raptor, like Mill Race and such. If they ever do build something back there, things will get moved around and/or removed. I wouldn't count on anything going on in the near future though back there. Do, on the other hand, look for the action to take place near DT this coming year. That's where the attention is focused. CP doesn't get to spread out when they do new things. They keep it to a small area if they can, probably to keep the park from getting too different in one season.

Heres my question. What exectly is behind/side of the MS? Is it trucks, wood, some sort of track or supports?
By the way heres a picture of the room that is avalible near the MS:http://www.cedarpoint.com/postcards/postcard3.jpg

Storage, especially for Planning and Design. It's sort of a mini boneyard. They park some trucks there. A large portion of the area near the train tracks and behind the Gemini restrooms is used by the landscaping department. Next time you're on the CP&LE, take a peek over the fence just before the Gemini crossing. You'll see a wide assortment of flowers and plants.

While riding Mean Streak yesterday I tried my best to get a look at what was behind MS's first turn (not referring to the boneyard). Basically all I saw were several stainless steel "poles" which were quite long and all the same length. These were definitely not coaster related, but I, like others, see some sort of an attraction going in this area in the future.
