What do you think its like working on Wicked Twist

I just want to know what some of you might think it was like working on Wicked Twister. I worked on my baby for around 2 months and had the best time ever! Tell me your thoughts and what you think. I think this will be fun!

I think it made you bitter, because all of your posts are just plain degrading to anyone who mentions "your baby."

Say--do you know GregLeg1? He's single, available and as big a fan of Quaker Oats as you are. Maybe he didn't take a picture with them, but trust me--he's a big fan. You two should meet over a box of instant sometime.

never mind I found gregleg1 that you were talking about...umm that was just something in my picture its at my grandmothers house and I have little cousins and that is something that some toys are kept in....lol (laugh out loud) we are suppose to write everything out in real words now so I thought that I should specify what that was. ;)

That was an obscure joke anyway--steeped in interlocking punchlines and threads on CoasterBuzz where one poor, deluded poster spends half his time as an imaginary superhero (Captain Obvious) meting out punishment from his Minivan of Justice.

Anyway, it's a really, really really long story. Unless you were reading numerous CBuzz threads since October, it's just way too much to explain.

Wow, someone visited my site! Thanks!

Are you guys allowed to press the white button on top of each car to release the harness? I visited WT one day and they had to recheck all the harnesses like 8 times in a row cause people wanted to get off.

Are we allowed?! well i don't know if supervision knew that we did it. But we would b/c it was to much of a hastle after a few times. We would do it if our TL was around. I personally wasn't tall enough to do it, but if a another tall person was around then we were all for it. Did you have those buttons on your Superman ride?

Yup, the harness release button is on each train on Superman. We're allowed to use the button (No one has told me otherwise, lol). I'm fairly tall, so I have no problem reaching it. It really comes in handy, actually, with larger people, who riders that want a specific row, that has already been locked. On Superman, there are times when we send a train out half full. It's a popular ride, but the park is pretty slow some days, meaing we don't consistantly get full trains. It's nice in like October, because we can buckle down cars 2-6, and keep 1& 7 open for people wanting the front and back, and just open the harnesses with the button for individual riders. (It's really that slow sometimes!)

Every now and then, button won't work for some reason or another, so we have to unlock all the restraints.

Well I think it is sandy, loud, and windy. Have I gotten everything there?
------------------
Thats right Virginia, I am Santa Claus.

yes you did get that right! and on some days that was just the worst of it.... But there are many times that it was the best place to work. We got the challenge to make all riders enjoy their day at Cedar Point.....It was the "New" ride and we had to make the best of it. Dealing with everything around. The sand does hurt when it flings up and hits you and when it gets in your eyes. Thats the worst. We weren't suppose to wear sunglasses on Platform but sometimes you have to b/c the sand could have done so much damage to your eyes. Thats all just part of working on the Best ride ever!

Though didn't you have to listen to a bunch of people complain about the ride. For one reasone in particular! It being shut down to be worked on all the time? Am I right?

This would mean you guess really wouldn't have had to work much at all.

I know from other friends that work at CP.

You don't know when to shut up do you?! I didn't think so! Us not working much.... I think not. If the ride wasn't working then we either got sent to another ride to work, or had to clean our ride. Which would probably make us busier than others because we had to clean everything and make sure everything was looking good, and if we got sent to another ride that ment that we had to know how to run that ride also. SO not only did we have the knowledge of our ride but also on other rides as well! Plus if you have ever worked at Cedar Point you know that you have to work you tail end off. The average hours that you work is between 60-80 and thats in one week. You can't tell me that I didn't work. I bet I worked more hours than you did in those 4 months!
