What do yall think of this?

i was just checkin out some other sites and i ran across this on thrillride.com ........

We're told that The Point is aiming to steal Magic Mountain's thrill ride thunder in 2002:

I'm friends with an executive of Cedar Point and I am not supposed to let this information leak, but it is just so exciting I couldn't help sharing it.

First of all, Cedar Point will be taking back the record for the most coasters in 2002 over Magic Mountain, by adding 2 new coasters, something it doesn't often do. CP will also raise its ride total to 82, with 14 new rides.

Here is the listing of rides CP will be receiving in 2002:
-5 new kiddy rides
-6 new flat rides
-a log flume with a 65 foot drop
-a mad mouse coaster towards the front of the park
-a record breaking air-launched coaster towards the back of the park that begins by sending you straight up 200 feet, making it the taller of the two air-powered coasters. The ride will be partially built over the lake, and it will have more twists and turns than the one in Utah. It will also have a second, smaller hill at about 50 feet. Then it will end in an intense helix.

I'm not sure what's happening in 2003 but my friend told me something about a record-breaking floorless coaster.
.......
now i dunno about everyone else... but i think this is a crock... just wanted everyone elses opinion.....

Don't they already have a flume w/ a 65' drop...
Sounds like bunk to me. 14 new rides? I don't think so. that's too much in one year, and I don't think they could plan an expansion that large and get it done in time.

Sounds like standard thrillride nonsense to me.
I ditto what Tim said. :)
