You can bring in an unopened water bottle and refill throughout the day. Water is also free at all food stands.
Thanks. Yea they like your money, I'm sure they have no problems with anyone bringing in as much as they want. Lol
I use a baby stroller to bring things into the park. Usually just loaded full with $20 bills.

Our experience has been, you can bring in pretty much anything, however don't be surprised or offended if they say you cannot.
We almost always enter through the resort or beach gates, from staying at the hotels or lighthouse point. Only a couple of times has an employee ever asked what was in our solo party cups we brought with us, in which case we stepped out of line and finished our drinks.
I can count on one hand how many times I've entered through the main entrance so I am not aware if the policy is stricter there.
Also, entering from the marina gate we have brought in food and drink, leftovers from Famous Daves and stuff bought at the marina store.
Just be pleasant and don't act like you're trying to sneak something in or are drunk.

We have never once had an issue bringing in small snack items for the kids, or even one or 2 20oz coke product bottles. If you were trying to bring in a cooler full of food and drinks then that is a different situation.
