Yes...what are you guys riding first this year at Cedar Point?
Are you hitting up Maverick or Millennium Force during an early ride time? Are you going to get a ride on Max Air as its been down for so long?
I am thinking Skyhawk to Maverick to Millennium Force using soak city entrance.
I think everyone will hit up Maverick first thing of the year and forgot about the big swing :)
Ryan's prediction: Maverick starts the year off with the parks longest line coming in at around 35-45 minute wait while the crowd is unevenly gathered to the Millennium Force / Maverick. Top Thrill Dragster opens "late" around 11:15 and the line is "quietly opened" as no one notices it running until they pay attention to the fact TTD is shooting up coasters and we get a TTD ride in under 10 minutes.
Whats the good row again on Magnum? 3-1 and 6-1?
I love that 3-1 I think it is, I need to make sure I take extra vitamin D for my legs so they don't break in half from wanting to fly out of that seat.
Its 1-3. 6-1 isn't bad either. And if you want freaky, go with 6-3. Going up the hill with nothing behind you (and short seats unlike MF) is a little disconcerting.
Goodbye MrScott

I think we've rode last row on Magnum before. One thing that I know for sure...nothing beats Raptor first row.
1-3 on Magnum is the best, and any front row seat of any of the cabins for the extra leg room.

I'm going on Opening Day with my mom, my sister and my daughter. Since my daughter pretty much gets to trump everybody, I'm guessing ride #1 will be on DT. Fortunately, I happen to like DT.
It used to be every trip was either a kids' trip or a grownups' trip. But now that Ava is six and over that magic 48" height, we get to have mixed days: some coasters, some kid rides, and lots of flats. Last year she got her first rides on Gemini, Wildcat, BS, CCMR, and Magnum. This year she's already indicated she wants to try Mean Streak. (Don't gasp -- she's already got 54 coasters under her belt, including Villain and Twister at Knoebels...she can handle it!) And I want to coax her onto Corkscrew for the first time. I'm debating it in my mind, because CS is an ear boxer (especially for littler riders, I would guess) and I don't want to ruin her on coasters with inversions for the next 6 or 8 years. On the other hand, she's already ridden a number of coasters that have seriously thrown her around and she's gotten right back on them. Hmmm...

Yes. Raptor, back row, right hand side.
^ - I agree with you on DT Mike, I still enjoy it.
Goodbye MrScott

I generally start the season with Magnum and end it with Magnum. I like to keep with tradition.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
We will be there Sunday: getting in at 9 am, I think out first ride will be SkyHawk, then Maverick.
I like to do the coaster "build-up"; not riding the tallest/fastest first, but considering the potential wait for Maverick on Saturday I am sure we ill hit that early.
Then again, that is why we are staying on Monday; we will have the park to ourselves!
Promoter of fog.
Always start with Raptor-front row in fact only because the 1st ride of the season always gets my tummy! :)
Always finish the season with Raptor too. Tradition I like to stick to! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
^ Me too, always ride Raptor first. My 5 year old can't wait until she can ride the "big green one". She just hit the magic 48", can't wait to take her on CCMR, Blue Streak and Gemini. Not sure we are going to try Magnum w/ her or not, she might be a little young for that still.

I <3 HalloWeekends!
I will jump on the Raptor 1st like I alway do. Last year I rode it 5 time in a row on the same seat and the same Train.
For my money there is NO better coaster in the park or the world for that matter than Millennium Force. It is always my first and last ride of the year as well as almost every day I am there.
It depends on where you park. If you are at the front gate, go straight to Raptor. if you're in the back, go to Magnum. Don't ruin a day by doing Millenium, Maverick, or TTD first. TRy saving fun stuff for the end.

Millennium Force during early entry like 8 times, that is if I can fit on it, lol. If not, than Maverick
I'll be Coasting for Kids on June 9th

How is riding Millennium, Maverick, or Dragster first going to ruin your day? I think there are things in the park that are more fun than those three rides. Maybe one of the other 14 coasters or several thrill rides.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
What are you talking about, Vince? If it wasn't built in the last 8 years, it sucks, plain and simple.
