I thought I would just try to get some people talking around here, since it's quiet here. So how are you keeping yourself occupied during the off-season?
I'm working, even though it's a little slow now. I'm writing out Christmas cards to clients. I'm also watching The Walking Dead and playing video games.
And last but not least, counting down the days until May 14th, only 6 days after my birthday and also checking the construction cams every so often.
Oops, just noticed I made an error in opening day. It's actually May 10th, 2 days after my birthday.

I took my daughter to Universal Studios Florida over Thanksgiving. We wore our Halloweekend sweatshirts on Thanksgiving (high of 60 degrees) PointBuzz Gatekeeper Tour shirts on Friday and our OSU shirts for the OSU/Michigan Saturday.
The Cedar Point gear got a lot of attention. A lot of it came from ride-ops who knew about the park but had questions, but lots came from park visitors as well. Lots of Ride ops wanted to know "how good" Halloweekends was compared to what they did at Universal.
We stayed on property and that got us "free" Express Passes which work like Fast Passes - Only better as they work on all rides (except Harry Potter) and they are not available in the "Ride as much as you want" fashion for the general public.
We had a great time, and Harry Potter was amazing, but it wasn't Cedar Point and that is where our heart is.
Cedar Point guest since 1974
What are other things we do for enjoyment in the winter? We'll probably visit an indoor water park and go skiing a couple of times. Last year we had a good deal with Castaway Bay with the Platinum Passes and the boys got in free for their birthdays so it cost us $30 for a day visit. And now that the season is upon us we're hoping to do visits to holiday displays and places if we can fit it in.
Edit: TMI, oversharing! :P

Well I'm in college, so a lot of studying and what not. I got a PS4 so I'm sure that will interfere with my studying. And I was asked to go back and work for a few weeks over winter break where I was a marketing intern during the summer months. So I'll get to make some $$$ to put towards my 2014 season pass! I'm actually hoping to get hired as a marketing intern at Cedar Point for the 2014 season so who knows... maybe I won't even need a pass!
Doing over work and surfing net. that's all

Retired(67) and work part time at a Tuffy auto service center. When the weather's decent(40+),work on my Camaro. Catch up on house work and yard work. Catch up on my computer stuff(Adobe Photoshop and Premiere) from the season. Just terminated my XP desktop and went to a Windows 7 desktop. The 'screensaver' is a 582 picture show of CP coaster pictures I've taken over the years 1996-2013 so whenever I'm at the desktop there's a nice offseason reminder of the past and what to look forward to.

^How do you have time to sleep so you can dream about Cedar Point?
Brian, I have it spaced out where I work a 6 day schedule. Mon-Fri I work my first Job 6:30a-4:30p. Tues-Thurs, I go to school from 5:30pm-8:45pm with two classes. Fri-Sat, I work a 5:00pm-10:00pm shift at my second job and then Saturday I work my second job working 2:00pm-10:00pm. Sunday day of rest. Don't worry, I squeeze some time in for the roller coaster world in the off-season. ;)
