What are Point perks?

Later today i am purchasing my 2008 platinum pass and i was wondering about point perks. if someone could tell me what they were that would be great.

It depends on what you consider extra money.

A 2008 Cedar Point pass is 104.95, but you cannot add Point Perks to it.

A 2008 Cedar Fair Platinum Pass is 140.00 and comes packaged with "free" parking and Point Perks.

So, while you don't have to pay "extra" to get Point Perks, you do have to buy the more expensive pass.

Point Perks will be a lot more worth it than the old Joe Cool system.

does anybody know if Point Perks will be applied to only CP platinum passes? Or to sister park Platinum Passes as well?

^No, Platinum Passes include Point Perks. Important to know though, is that you MUST buy the pass at CP to get the Point Perks.
