"Welcome back riders. How was your evening?"
Do you guys believe Cedar Fair regrets buying this model after seeing how successful the StarFlyers are at Six Flags?

I was kind of thinking the same thing.
I personally don't understand why they would put them in most of their parks after having so many issues with the first models.
I wouldnt mind getting stuck on a windseeker, esp. CP's because of the view. I would be rather comfortable and whoever I am riding with we would chat for a while and just chill out. As long as no one is in danger, I'm fine. (think superman tower in Kentucky) :( One day I will be riding with july 4th fireworks atop windseeker :)
So as a safety issue, what would happen if you are up there for three hours, but around hour number two a thunderstorm came? What are they going to do with you?

Tell you to sit lower in the seat than the person next to you :)

So, I'm still learning how to do this correctly, but hopefully the link works. I found this and thought I would share as I'm sure it will come up if Windseeker is actually closed.

Does anyone know if the riders got any swag other than the "I survived Windseeker" shirts?
I was stuck years ago on Magnum for maybe 40 minutes and we got a couple of in through the outdoor passes that were quickly cashed in on Millennium.
My guess is that if it should become necessary to bring the ride down RFN, there is probably a way to do so, but doing so would necessarily be a more dangerous option than fixing the problem to the point of being able to lower the gondola normally.
This would be similar to the solutions for a jammed piston on Power Tower, which involves cutting the affected wire rope and using the other three to bring the ride down. Not a desirable solution by any means, but in a true emergency situation, it's an option.

I am thankful that everything turned out ok for the people stuck! I know that I would have a real hard time being stuck up there that high for that long! It is different if it was a coaster on a track....Just my opinion. I would be freaked to be stuck up like that!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
