I was scanning the internet for different parks' websites to see their new rides, etc... I realized that CP has one of the best websites of any park. Its very organized, has great pictures, amazing videos, and is fun. I noticed most other parks don't even have pictures of their big rides. Kennywood barely has any pictures of their new Swing Shot. I realized how lucky we really are and CP should be applauded for all of their hard work.

Kennywood is lucky to update their site once every 6 months. The site still says Swing Shot is comming in spring 2006. lol

I wish they would update their site a little more often. All of Kennywood's park sites are like that too. (Idlewild, Sandcastle)

cedarpoint.com is probably the most easy to use website I have ever visited. It really is great.

Yeah, CP.com is great. They really do a great job on that site. Of course, you can say the same about pointbuzz. No other park sites have all the coaster pov videos that CP.com does. And have you checked out a six flags site. They're terrible.

Six Flags is horrible. Only for the Newest or biggest coasters do they have a pic or two. King da Ka and El Toro are the only ones I've seen with POVs and some pics.

These sites aren't made to go and be able to browse for hours on end. Really their only purpose IMO is to give you were they are, and when they're open. Cedar Point goes way up and above the call of duty and I applaud them. But if the park sites had everything we wouldn't need Pointbuzz. ;)

If it wasn't for CP.com, I wouldn't be a considered a CP enthusiast.

Before 2002 I always loved park (even though I didn't ride the rides), but didn't know everything about the place.

In Jan. 2002 I just got my internet fixed on my computer and didn't know what website to look at. I was just playing around and thought about CP. I came across the webcam and construction pictures of Wicked Twister and became very interested. I've always was fascinated by the way things were built. A few weeks later, I came across Virtual Midway (Walt's old site) and became very interested very fast. Later that year, I learned about CP building another new ride. The Area 51 talk was very big at the time and that brought me to GTTP (Jeff's old site). In July 2002 I finally got myself to ride a ride larger than CCMR and I've been hooked ever since. I even made my own website (currently developing a new one).

It's very surprising, but CP.com started my craze in the park.

The "best" park has the "best" website, for the "best" fans! :) *** Edited 5/22/2006 2:22:42 AM UTC by Gomez***
