Hello fellow pointers!

My name is Robert Niemiec and I have been an active duty member of the United States Navy for eight years. I am from Garden City, Michigan but I have been stationed in California since I have joined the military. I used to be a posting member of the site back in the Guide To The Point days and it is great to see that Jeff still has a great site dedicated to Cedar Point that is alive and well. I have been visiting Cedar Point since the 1992 season in between thee additions of Mean Streak and Snake River. It kills me every year that I can no longer feasibly go to CP eight to ten times per season like I used to. The last visit that I made was in 2007 to ride the brand new Maverick. Well that's me...I plan to enjoy many of CP discussions with all of you in the future. I hope you all enjoy GateKeeper...I miss the days of Disaster Transport and Demon Drop and the like. See you in the forums and may the best roller coaster of all time the Magnum XL 200 live forever!!!

Rob, great taste in coasters! Magnum is my favorite also in spite of all the additions to the park. Welcome to the site and I hope you can get to the park at least once next summer to ride Gatekeeper.

Rob, Magnum is definitely my favorite as well. Love the out and back along the Lake Erie shore. Hope to see you on the midway this year. Should be a great season at the Point.
