It's located to the left right before the turn into the lift.
It's all old and beat up, so it's nothing new. The rails look like standard Arrow, but the ties connect to the inside so it can't be. What the heck is it? My only guess is they are used as support for when they take the trains off.
I'm concerned about nothing, I know :)
You are correct.. They are used when transporting trains on the back of a flat truck.. With the old Arrow mine trains (like Gemini and CCMR) you can't just put them down as the upstops are not actually wheels but an 'L' shapped device with a brake pad like material on the top side to reduce friction but still stop a car from leavin gthe track.
