I got bored and decided to look things up. Well, Cedar Point has a Johnny Rockets. Johnny Rockets is owned by Dan Snyder, who also owns the Washington Redskins and is chairman of the board for Six Flags. Anyone else know of any weird connections?
Not really. Dan Snyder got involved in Johnny Rockets in early 2007 and got involved in Six Flags in late 2005.
Cedar Point's Johnny Rockets was built in 2001.

I for one wish Snyder would prohibit JR's from being in competing parks. That way Cedar Point's would have to go away. :)
^^Tim I know what you're saying, but I'm not sure how I can go without my Panda Express each week. :)

So true. I really hope (and I know this probably won't happen) that employees will have a discount at Panda next summer, considering how much we ate there. :)

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I loved Fascination and wish it was still there :(

Ok here we go... Cedar Fair's CEO is Dick Kinzel, who went to the same Indians/Yankees Playoff game as Lebron James, who is good friends with Derek Jeter, who once dated Jessica Biel, who was in Blade Trinity with Wesley Snipes, who is simply put, the man.
Don't really know where I was going with that... but I figured I'd give it a whirl?

Arsenio Hall worked at CP, he was in movies with Eddie Murphy, who got 'scary spice' pregnant.
Here's one:
Cedar Fair has a license with Paramount, Paramount releases it's films on HD-DVD, Microsoft is associated with HD-DVD, Microsoft is also associated with NBC, NBC is owned by GE, which also owns part of Universal Studios Resort in Orlando

^hahaha, and therein lies the answer. Somehow it always leads back to Kevin Bacon... Not that I mind. I'm a big fan of his movies. With the exception of Hollow Man, of course :P

So what is that, seven degrees of separation? I'm a lot closer than that:
My wife's aunt is a "psychic reader" in Akron. She used to give readings to Chrissy Hinde when she came to town.
Chrissy Hinde appeared in a Friends episode with Jennifer Aniston...
...who was in Picture Perfect with... Kevin Bacon.

How about this...
George A. Boeckling not only the President of Cedar Point Pleasure Company, but he was a very prominent man in the film industry as well. He brought motion pictures to the park. A young man by the name of Sam Warner worked at the park as a lifeguard and saw one of the movies which Boeckling had brought to the park; Thomas Edison's "The Great Train Robbery." He became so fascinated with it, that he bought the rights to it from Boeckling, and ran off with his brothers to California where they started Warner Brothers. And who was the former owner of Six Flags? Yes, Warner Brothers.

How about this,
In the past Cedar Point has done work with a coaster manufacturer by the name of "Intamin AG", this company then build several rides for Cedar Point's rival, six flags. ;)
At work today I put 3 cases of bacon in the freezer, which came from GFS (Gordon Food Service), which has a retail outlet in Sandusky, just down the road from Cedar Point.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Cedar Point is in the US, and so is SFMM...
Knute Rockney worked at CP, and he went to Notre Dame, which is in Indiana, the same state that Holiday World is located in. The town is named Santa Clause, Indiana. Santa may have given a Six Flags worker a present at one time or another...
Cedar Point has 10 letters. Thorpe Park also has 10 letters, and a mini Kingda Ka, which is almost a clone of TTD, which was built by Intamin, who also built Colossus at Thorpe.
