You know, I love Cedar Point. I love my girlfriend too. But in no way does that mean that I would want to get married or engaged at Cedar Point.
For those of you who want to, great. I think it's wonderful that that is a place that is special enough to have such a momentous event in your life. However, to me, those kinds of days are about family, friends, and the love between the two people that are getting married/engaged. I would imagine that at Cedar Point, it could quickly become more about the rides and the atmosphere there rather than the happy couple.

"You may now kiss the bride, now enjoy your ride!" I can imagine a preist saying that! LOL
Once I was looking at the on ride pics after I rode Millennium Force and some guy was holding a sign that said will you marry me to his girlfriend! How sweet (:

^I've seen a picture floating around the web of that exact same thing happening. I wonder if it was the same one you saw. It makes you wonder how often things like this happen.

I think quite a few people have gotten engaged at CP over the years. I think the most popular one in recent years was when the guy had the caricature artist envolved.
Some, people, like myself do it without any fanfare. I had a couple of friends ride with us when I proposed on Magnum's lift.
I know Raptor Jo was married on Raptor. I think they did the ceremony in station.
I chose Holiday World for our wedding. They took us clear to the top of Voyage and stopped it. Bruce Borders (Elvis impersonator), got out and performed the whole ceremony, then song to us, and got back in the train for rest of the ride. Was an incredible experience!
