I'm in Medina this week visiting my family, and we are planning on going to the point wed. or thurs.!!! I loved it two years ago, but the dragster was shutdown. one person said it was too windy??? the other said that it had been stalling previously??? Is any of this true? Will I finally get to ride it this year? Now to my more important question...Arriving as soon as the park gates open, are we better off going to the back of the park near millenium force or should we try to get on the raptor first off by the entrance. Since we only have one day, what is our best plan of attack. Ride order? Of course, maverick will be a must.
Thanks
I would skip Millennium, unless you need a nap or something.
Anyways, there is a simple strategy go from back to front and have a great time.

What?! Skip Millenium? I hope that was a joke. It was only the top steel coaster for how many years?
I'd say start in the back with Millenium then circle around through Frontier Town, hitting Skyhawk, then Maverick. I wouldn't rush to Maverick because that's what so many other people will be doing. You'll have a wait of at least an hour no matter when you get there. If you see Dragster running go there next, I wouldn't go there first because it sometimes takes them a while to get it up and running well. Do the front later in the day, early afternoon will usually give you the shortest waits for Wicked Twister, MaxAir and Raptor. No matter what though, there's no guarantee, just use some common sense and you'll have a great day.
The capacity of the park is such that you'll hit all the things you want to. I don't know why everyone is always so worried about it. Simple tip: If the line is long, don't get it in it. There's a shorter one somewhere else. Don't hit Raptor before 5. Millennium Force, Dragster and Maverick are often slightly better later in the day.
