I was just on CP's webcam today and the view from TTD looks cool with seeing the track and maybe getting a glimpse of the train going by. Anyways the thing that struck me the most was that lovely(sarcasm) green blob underneth of Iron Dragon, I am talking about the part that is next TTD.
Ride-on
Id imagine that view is not by design, either wind and/or the ride has moved that cam into that position. It is a nice view of the marina and bay.
GO IRISH!!
It's been like that since the huge storm we had about a month or so ago. I'm pretty sure it was due to wind. The same storm knocked down a cinder block wass that was under construction in North Olmstead.

I've seen the "blob" too, Rippin. Is that grass? or swampy moss? I can't remember exactly what the terrain is under that portion of ID anymore.

Up until mid-2009, there was always either a fountain or a bubbler in there to break all that up. Not sure what happened to it that it's been gone since then though.

Probably just instance of CP failing to maintain theming. Kidding of course, but you have to admit they are pretty bad at maintaining things that are not either 1) landscaping or 2) mechanical aspects of rides.
Looking at the dragster web cam at 9:00pm the park is totally packed, even the parking overflow lot is full, great night for fireworks.
