Webcam

I don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere, but I just found out today that the webcam is back and in a new location.

Every time I look at the cam, I only ever see maybe a dozen people. I've never been to Geauga Lake , is the cam in a quiet area of the park, or is the park usually so vacant?

That's at the main entrance.

Its not very representative of the entire park as WWK is usually packed during the week. Check the cam on weekends.

Thanks for the heads up Jason, just to let you know its been talked about on Geauga Lake Today for the past month.

You should have told us. :) That's actualy how i found out. Because unless I'm missing something, there is no direct link to it on the website.

Wow I just looked at that and literally saw 1 person... I've never been there. Can you just walk on rides all day?

^ You can't always just walk on. Some days you certainly can, but quite a few days there will be a few train wait, and on some days where there are company picnics or weekends, there will actually be substantial lines (substantial meaning 20 minutes or so).

As said above, the water park is always much more crowded. Lines for the slides commonly reach an hour or more, and the pools are always quite crowded.

And the web cam is pointing at a relatively uncrowded area. Most of the times people are dispersed along the midways, and there aren't many people at the entrance in late afternoon. There are usually a lot of people on the benches right at the gate, which is out of view on the web cam, and some people are in those shops, but not normally at the fountain.
