Weather forecasts

I've got 2 questions. First, if there is a chance of possible showers and/or t-storms in the forecast for when I go to CP, is that more likely to bring shorter lines or closed rides, or both? Second, for those of you who live in the Sandusky area, or who go to CP often, which is a more reliable forecast, the Weather Channel, Sandusky Register, or the weather on cedarpoint.com?
