Weather for the weekend

Hello,

I was wondering if people in the area around CP can give an weather update for this weekend? I see on the "The Weather Channel" and "Accu-Weather" that there is a chance that it'll rain this weekend but they both are slightly different. I'm wondering what the weather man is saying in that area?

Thanks!!

Let me be the first to say your post will be deleted shortly. Threads aren't allowed asking what the weather will be like. If weather channel says there is a chance of rain in Sandusky, then odds are the answer is there's a chance it'll rain.

If you really want to know what the weather man here is saying, read this.

John is right - chance of rain means chance of rain.

For those who can't follow the text contained on that linked page, here's a translation:

"It appears wet weather is on tap for the weekend. Eta model didn't appear to initialize all that well today and the Global Forecast System (the AVN/MRF model) appears to be having feedback problems. Fortunately for the forecast area, both models are fairly similar. The new runs are a little quicker moving the surface low into the lower lakes region Saturday night into Sunday. Boundary will move back north into the forecast area late Saturday and expect scattered precipitation Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Moisture will gradually increase during the weekend and expect likely probability of precipitation all areas on Sunday as low approaches. New forecast will be similar to the previous package with just slight tweaking here and there. Surface low will pass to the north of Lake Erie Sunday night into Monday and this should finally end precipitation chances."

But it's easier to say - "hey, it might rain, but don't let it change your plans"

Many mid summer trips i have had in the past, including even the 4th, have been turned into great trips due to 3 or 4 hours of thunderstorms,in other words, if your go, and im there, i hope youre one of the many that depart early and clear the place out for me, even if im soaking wet

In other words, i have never seen many total washouts in the mid summer.

Under the final brake run in raptor line is a better place to be in a storm than here at home too!

If you see it looking like its going to storm, you can always eat or something,I have even got a hand stamp and got away from the captive audience part of eating at the park and gone into town.

I type all this as a habitual season pass holder though, but if i paid for daily addmission, id still take my chances(i am going tommarow but it does almost look as if it will be a rainy/stormy one)

By 4 or 5 in tha afternoon a good shower is nice anyway, lol
