Weather and Lines?

I know that if you are in line before Cedar Point closes for the night you are allowed to wait in line and they will cycle you through. But what happens if during that time a storm comes through causing the ride to shut down? Will the crew stay there and wait out the strom or will they close down the park? At what point will they say "ok this weather isnt letting up, we gotta send these people home."?

I'm sure it's a case-by-case basis, but my guess is that you'd be out of luck. If it's going to rain all night long, they aren't going to pay a crew of seven people all that extra time and deprive them of sleep.

This happened to me last year in the Raptor line which was extremely long, I don't know if we were made to get out of line, or everyone was just agreeing that it was time to leave. Everone that was in line turned around like a wave and everybody walked out, so I just figured they closed it for the rest of the night. But I nevertheless agree that it goes case-by-case.

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!
