Weather and ceadar point

Hey peoples,

I never been to CP and am going for the first time this coming week of 29th-31ist leaving the 1st (half day). I was looking into the weather and its not looking too promising for me. This has been planned since about feb and im flying in from southern california. Just wanted to know what i could expect operate in rain and what other options there are to eat up time.

Thank you.

Most rides are open, i know TTD isnt in the rain ( obviously)..and Millennium is open in the rain though..only if it starts pouring bad it shuts down..and other than that everything is open. i believe *** Edited 5/25/2007 11:25:36 AM UTC by Jerreus***

Total Maverick rides for the 2007 season = 27

Top 5--- 1. Maverick- 2. Millennium 3. Magnum 4. TTD 5. Gemini

Cavs- 2007 Eastern Conference Champions!.-

What a coincidence I too am planning to go the 29th-31st and we started planning in February :)

1) Maverick 2) Millennium Force 3) Top Thrill Dragster

The main arcade in the Coliseum is fun in the rain.

Head out the Soak City gate and head to Fridays for Lunch.

Head out the Marina gate and have lunch at Famous Daves

Jump into Gameday Grill for lunch.

Just a few ideas of what to do in the rain. Keep an eye on the skies, you can usually see bad weather rolling in at Cedar Point. Good Luck!

But three of those options involved eating..lol

Wildcat and Disaster Transport will join TTD among the first coasters to close due to rain. If it's warm, head to Soak City. Millennium Force is always fun in the rain. If the rain bothers you, you can pick up one of those blue rain parkas for $5 bucks at almost any souvenir store...

Looking at the weather for the weekend...it does not appear that Sandusky will have any all day rains. Just go and dont worry about the weather. There are lots of other things to do if it rains for a while. Catch a show. I saw Rockin Country in the Red Garter last weekend and it was pretty good.

The ride crews do a great job of getting the rides back up after a rain shower.
