How has the weather been at the parks recently? I'm thinking of going with my family for a Halloweekend and we're worried it's going to be a little cold. Have the previous Halloweekends been cold? Is it bearable/still worth it to fight the cold? Are there less people when it's cold, therefore we will be able to get to rides faster?
Any help would be great!
Thanks
What the weather's been like has absolutely no bearing on what it will be. That being said, about the only part of "weather" that has any effect on crowds is rain. Temps affect crowds less this time of year because people expect October to be chilly, but a really warm day (think a spike into the 70's) will draw extra people to the park who may have otherwise skipped.

Hi of 44 Saturday with 50% chance of precipitation (rain/snow) and 47 Sunday with only a 10% chance of rain.
Too cold for me but, then again, it is 91 degrees here today in Ft Lauderdale. Cold front coming this weekend and Sundays hi might only be 80 degrees.

Plus you have to take into consideration that Cedar Point is on the Lake which will make that 44 this Saturday feel more like 34 if there is any wind.
We'd go, Club Blood at KI blows Cedar Points away. The cold won't keep us from going closing weekend, though I would prefer it to not snow or rain. Just layer really well, whats being a little cold and being able to ride as opposed to an even longer off season?

I <3 HalloWeekends!
Everything was running yesterday. The lines were healthy, to say the least. However, in the six hours we were there, we were able to get in about 10 rides, mostly the bigger stuff. I'd imagine the lines today will be shorter, but probably not walk-on.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
Yesterday was great with the lines. They were a little longer in the noon hours, but surprisingly later on at night, they thinned out! PT was almost a walkon, DT was literally a walk on, even Raptor's line was about 15 mins. Out of every ride plus haunted house, I waited the longest for UR dade school of science, which was about 1hour and 15 min. TTd had a short half hour wait at night, and corn stalkers was only 45 min. They said to us in line it was going to be 2 hours, but it fools you because all the middle queues are empty! But you can't see it from the outside, so a lot of people pass it up and say no it's too long.
ps. It was fun dancing the electric slide with the midway monsters!! Just in case anyone was there watching.
Sometimes it gets pretty darn chilly. Sometimes weather has a bearing on the crowds, sometimes it doesn't. If your dead set on using the weather to get into lines faster, pick a really cold and really rainy day. Your lines will be much shorter, but then again some things don't run in rain too.
