Water Tower

In the latest update at Cedar Point about Steel Vengeance, they have a pan shot of Steel Vengeance and I notice there is a water tower next to the CP & LE railroad.

Train stations everywhere had water towers. The trains would make “water stops” and refill the steam engines water supply for the trip ahead. There’s one at the main midway station as well.

From previous posts, I heard that the water tower at the main midway station was no longer used, instead they just use a hose. I wonder if Cedar Point moved that water tower back near Steel Vengeance for theming purposes.

It came from Shoot the Rapids. Probably there for theming.

Maybe they are moving it now, because that area will be developed in the future for a new coaster.

^It doesn't seem like you saw the picture, the water tower is next to the train crossing by SV. It's probably the old STR entrance sign.
