Water Ski Show

I was happy to read that there will be a water ski show in the water ski stadium this year.

On top of that, the new website said "most rides, attractions and entertainment will be in operation on the former wildlife side of the park."

This is good news. It seems like the former wildlife side will not just sit idle like we all thought. I take that quote to mean that maybe the shops and food on that side will be in operation, along with things like the pearl diving show, along with the rides that were installed.

People also speculated about the future of the Oktoberfest. I was also pleased to see that it will continue as scheduled.

Next question...

"What time does the water ski show start?"

They also mentioned some gravity games type events which I think is awesome.

I suspect the park will be closed down somewhere prior to the Sea Lion stadium. That would leave most of the moved dry rides and the water ski stadium accessible. Is the 3-D movie staying put?

They still have the "Pirates" movie too, don't they? I hope they do.

What time does the water show start?

I actually think it's pure folly to open that side of the park until there is a permier attraction to draw the people. A few flats, run down kids area and a water ski show really isn't going to pack it in. Now if they run a Gravity Games or concerts or something with a real draw to it, that would make sense. But with the info we have now, about the plans for now, it's just throwing money away.
The south side parking lot and entrance will still be maintained so it can be used on busy days... this might be part of the reason why they decided to keep that (albeit not in great condition) corner of the park open.

Again, there is no reason to run both sides of the park with no draw on the south side. At this point, with the info we have, it seems to me that they're looking to throw money away. Furthermore, why would they want to operate a gate that is in Aurora?
