Can you pay up front for parking, drive around to back, stop at that manned booth, turn left into parking lot, then buy your water park tickets at a gate back there?
Never went to water park before. Always stayed at Breakers, where he would check us off the list before allowing us to proceed to Breakers lot.
Thanks! Supposed to be a great day tomorrow for a water park!

Cedar Point Shores doesn't open for the season until Saturday, May 25. Check their (separate) operating schedule here: https://www.cedarpoint.com/explore/cedar-point-calendar-and-hours
You'll turn left into the CP Shores parking lot before the booth, unless they moved it from last year.
Just be warned not to get there too early, as they a have been discouraging people from parking in that back lot in the mornings before CP Shores opens. I'm not exactly sure on the time.
Also, I'm pretty certain that you want to buy your tickets in advance, I believe it is far cheaper to purchase them online than it is at the gate.

I emailed the park and got a reply that the back lot would be open for CP Early Entry this year. Personally I think that’s a mistake as it cuts into the limited parking for CP Shores.

^^^^ Never know if I’m going for sure. Thinking about buying season tickets, but not sure if we’ll be there enough.

Even if you were to go twice, it would pretty much pay for itself. I get the Platinum Pass, and when I plan my visits, I usually do Kings Island twice and Cedar Point ya least once a month, (sometimes) twice. Plus all of the great perks and discounts that comes with it too.

But it makes life a lot easier for people who plan to hit early entry AND go to the water park. We've actually done early entry to CP and early entry to the waterpark in the same day before.
