Walking Room

Top Thrill takes up quite an amount of space. They had to move Chaos and Troika. Does anyone think this ride will decrease the amount of walking room you have? I have been to the park a few times and each time the park is really crowded. The addition of Top Thrill should bring more crowds, but less pathway.

I dont think it will change too much, they might actually make more room. You cant really tell by the artist rendition, but i think there will be more room than there looks to be.

Yea, the artist's drawing of the midway, especially down by the Magnum area is pretty inaccurate. The midway will probably remain pretty much unchanged in that area and it looks like the entrance will be exactly where Troika's entrance was. It's not as wide open as the MF/Mantis area, and will probably be crowded, but it's hardly a narrow path.

If the queue is in the middle of the oval, then if anything the midway will be WIDER there than it has been. The new ride is not encroaching on area that didn't already have rides sitting on it.

All of the ride is being built over the pond rather than the walk way.

If you notice the old construction pics, the area that was closed off was just about at the edge of the walk way (give or take a few feet) and the track seemed to be quite a ways back from that point. In effect widening the midway unless they keep it the same and fill in with grass or whatnot.

Remember. There used to be a lagoon where the turn back to the station is. The que is in the middle of the oval.
